The Soulcalibur Championship is a world fighting championship created and promoted by the virtual fighting mini show called Soulcalibur Showdown on the World Virtual Wrestling promotion.
The championship was established on July 19, 2016. On July 19, 2017, the Inaugural Soulcalibur Championship Tournament began. Round one of the tournament concluded on the same day. The second round concluded on July 20, 2017. Round 3 is scheduled to happen on July 21, 2017. The semi-finals on July 22, 2017 and the grand final to conclude on July 23, 2017, where the inaugural champion will be crowned.
On July 23, 2017, Qwen defeated Aeon 5-4 in a five round bout to become the winner of the tournament and the inaugural Soulcalibur Champion. After the tournament Qwen decided to change her name status to "Queen" Qwen because of winning the tournament.
Exador Atari is the current champion. He defeated Queen Qwen in a five round bout on September 6, 2017 at the SCS 2: Vengeance Of A Queen event.
As of September 4, 2017, it was announced that going forward the Soulcalibur Championship will always be defended in five rounded bouts.
Exador Atari is the current champion in his first reign. As of October 4, 2017, he has held the title for 28 Days.
